o/s: complete sill patching, rear arch chopping re-welding all prepped for spraying.

n/s: rear arch fillering, sill patching, prep work.

?450 - Includes primer/base coat.

The idea being i will then have the xr2 kit over the top sprayed.

Spraying of the entire kit - ?80.

..just to add.. i still think thats daylight robbery.

If I could get my bits sprayed for ?80 I'd take the guy's hand off!

lol its one of those things though where they are happy to help you but their kindness doesnt extend beyond that..

soz m8 if i get any more cheap bodyshop contacts ill giv you their numbers.. got quite a few places up here/down here, who are based in barn conversions.. do a brill job for half the price

I know of one location where there is a bodyshop, pro. window tinting place and a garage all in one farm yard

Yeah, no worries mate, need to find somewhere that'll do it for a fair price. I reckon most places charge such high amounts because they normally only deal in normal accident repairs and so want to cover themselves in case things go wrong...

thats right yeah, i spoke to one place and they said "we dont get involved in things like this (talking about sills and arches)"

I suppose because its not a straight forward procedure (like many dent removals are).

TBH i think youd be alright doing it yourself..

I've spoken to a few people who have sprayed before and they say if everyone knew how easy it was bodyshops wouldn't charge half what they do anyway..
