I have never really understood the need / purpose to blank out my number plate in images? Can someone enlighten me? Can't see anyone wanting to steal it..? |

if you advertise your spec on an internet site and some pikey fancies it, quick check and they know where you live, quite ride out one night and they're one car better off ![]() personally i dont care as neither of my cars are worth a lot, but if i had an all singing all dancing cossie, stage 3, special wheels blah blah, i wouldnt people to find where i live ![]() |

As Scotty said, I used to do this with everyones pictures that I took. I don't bother any more, becuase for one, the only people looking are gonna be people that know the site. Now, for something like FITP I'll blank every last plate, cus there are people 1) I don't know 2) own VERY high power/spec motors and 3) have no idea where the pictures are going. It is kinda to protect them, but thats the reasoning ![]() |

before the new rules were brought in, shops would make you a set of number plates just by asking for a set! |
