My car is 2.0 running rs1800 inlet and egr removed. it should be light as it has no back seats. My mates car is 2.0 running 1.6 inlet still with egr. it has no back seats but has 2 subs instead. We had a little race on a our private test track  . Mine left his car quite easily all the way throught the rev range. didn't think that the manifold and egr made alot of differance but it looks like it might.
Thought i would share my findings with you all.

the driver also makes a huge difference (and wether they can change gear  )

The box your both using will drastically make a difference!

| True.
The over thing that he has done is chop the gear stick down by about 2 inches. it looks good and it makes the shift shorter but when i drove it it makes it harder to select each gear. but he says it is easy once you get used to it. |
