personally i dont like the look when the bonnet is jacked up many other ways of getting air out the engine and to keep it looking std. also you have to alter your bonnet catch when you jack the bonnet meaning its closer to the radiator. just my thoughts also a 2.0 shouldn't get to hot if your radiator is functioning properly and you have a decent cooling system its not exactly producing that much power and the engine physically isn't any bigger when sitting in traffic mine gets warm quick but when going and on full boost my temp guage is right on the bottom bar of the norm. and thats with a red hot(not joking it physically glows red hot) turbo chrager less than an inch for it which boils the water in the rad at that point Tony ![]() |

didn't see you mate all turbo's glow red on fords i used to have a s2 and that used to uprated oil pump will sort that out and the temp gauge will go down on full chat cause the car will be travelin through the air at speed if i nail my car the temp goes down when i run at santa or york as im driving off the temp is at the bottom any way each to there own i like the look also thinkin bout bonnet pins but i dont think im gonna do a poll i think they will be shiny every think else he does just about is you live in donny jdfiesta |

i got a set of stainless steel bonnet pins sitting here atm, going to be putting them on and losing the ford catch as it will be in the way of the intercooler and rad setup. not doing it for looks its purely for function. if you want bonnet pins for looks do the flush fit locking ones. works style clips do look terrible but they perform a function its all about function before form the way propper fords were designed and the way they should stay |
