Yeh but maybe if enough people ring up about the problem, at least they will realise there is a design problem and then maybe he has some comeback? Worth a try at least...

this could happen on any drilled disc though, but thats not to say it shouldn't have.

How hard were you driving it for the 1kmiles??

and i agree with above, get onto OMP about it.

Things like this are annoying, i just bought some new parts which have failed to perform the task they are made for, but getting my money back seems to be a problem. Hate it when things break and they are Wankers about it.

To be honest, I don't see the point in even going anything different than standard stuff on these Fiesta's.

Yeah you've upgraded your engine a few times, then get some cossie, or ST150 brakes slapped on it.

No problems that way, standard stuff for road use. Simple.

Nice one for getting in touch with OMP about it, if nobody tells them about it, then nothing will ever be done. Even if you don't get your money back, at least they may take a look at the design of the discs to see if their is a genuine design flaw.

By the way mate, I take it that due to the fact that the discs are cracked now, that you will be needing some more. I've just fitted Cossie 4x4 front brakes to my Si with Mintex 44's pads and EBC dimpled and grooved discs (like FiestaSiPhil has I'v just noticed ^^) and if you are running a 2.0 Litre I would definately recommend them. I'v not had any problem with them so far whatsoever. I know you may not have a huge amount of money right now, but it is something to think about mate...

Dave :)

only problem with dimpled and grooved disks is the noise they make when hammering it.
