They are really good i think! Anyone else got one? Make the car sound different and a lot more throttle responce. knocked 1.2 seconds off my best 0-60 on the first run (and i had a passenger with the chip) Probably the cheapest way to tune an si and get results. (P.S did i mention mine is for sale in the for sale section) |

cheeky plug 
mines ok, but feels sluggish putting normal octane fuel in it again. decided to use only optimax now to get the full potential out of it. it pulls to 6.5k now without any flat spots. i think its made it more driveable rather than a noticable increase in speed or power. getting more pops and bangs with it now

superchips still cost around ?300. could buy a 2L lump for that and still have change. knocking over a 1 sec off your 0-60 time seems abit too much for just a chip. They do only give you about 4\5 extra BHP. |

I would not pay ?300 for one. It is handy though, easy to plug in and take out etc. Also some people want more power from the si without the insurance trouble of a 2.0 |

Mate if your sticking with the 1.6 engine then the best upgrade would be to get a complete piper cam kit. Mate got one for his escort 1.8 Zetec. Cost him about ?500 i think, but really did make a difference. didnt even seem like that same car, much more pace it had, but on the down side an expensive mod
