Seen the new Type R a while ago, and as much as I try, I still can't stand the rear end of the new Civic, it's disgusting. Admittidly, the Type R will no doubt prove to be a popular car, but I just hope it doesn't turn out like the last one where you see every tom dick and harry (and great aunt Mavis) driving one. And Im sure it's engine, as ever with Honda, will be superb. But as for the shape, no no no no no no no. |

The exhausts are pants. One of those details that would really annoy me, as they aren't trianlge tail pipes, just trims in the bumper. If you look inside them on a normal civic, you can see the pea shooter supported in the triangle hole. If I were designing that, I'd make sure they had proper triangle tail pipes welded on.
