After realising i cant afford a new magnex exhaust.. or even find a second hand one.. i have looked into a ashley exhaust..

Thing is, some people have said its loud, some people have said its alright.. it looks good, it doesnt cost as much as a magnex and i could afford an ashley exhaust..

Just wanna know if anyone has one, or has had one..

Im probably gonna end up getting one and being death on the motorways again :lol:

I hear they rust quite quickly, the performance is so so and the sound.. well it's not to everyones tastes.. But i can't say anything other than what i've heard from others. HTH

the good thing about ashely exhausts is that there loud :) the downside is that there made of mild steel and they will rust over due time, u could always wait and buy the better magnex as its stainless steel but its that noise u have to have it asap! it depends on how long u wanna wait and if u plan to keep the car for long....

as in really loud?..

im planning on keeping this car for as long as possible..

its just i cant save up for a brand new magnex, i cant justify spending 250 - 300 odd quid on an exhaust i dont really need and i owe some money out to my mother so she wouldnt like it either cause she'd prefer to have it

but if i come accross a cheap one then yeah..

its the money problem thats all lol

ashley r ok for noise and thas all. yes there mild steel, and will rust evenually...simialr to PECO. If i was u, put ur sensible hat on and think about it hard, im a trader so ud expect me to say rip it off, buy a ashley.................but seriously, id leave it till u have the cash, the way i see it, why spend money on something u dnt want....will cost u more in the long run. :)

iv'e still got the standard exhaust on my car, with a pipercross filter, sounds fine to me,
a mates rs18000 with full system sounds like theres a pack of angry wasps following him,
i doubt it will add any perfomance on a zetec.
