when doing said brake conversion, what carriers are used with the calipers? fezzy ones or the escort ones ?any help is apprieciated |

escort 4x4 ones. you'll probably need 3 washers per bolt to space it out aswell JJ |

as JD said but the washers may vary as i've got either 4 or 5 per bolt on mine |

as far as i can gather, cossie 4x4 front calipers,carriers,discs,and pads, the fiesta brake hoses fit. but u will need longer bolts and some washers to space the carriers correctly, am i right? please tell me as i'm supposed to be doing this next week |

yep thats about right i think it's either escort 4x4 or sierra 2wd ones fit. but you need the complete brake assemberly you can't swap parts over. the pipes still work but it is recommended that you get braided hoses. |

the 2wd ones are 4 pots and dont fit apparently, is it worth getting grooved discs and decent pads or will it lock up if breath near the pedal |

Don't forget the ST150 setup, which is pretty much the same size/power but with no spacing needed |

Ive got these on mine. They are brilliant. As said you need the 4x4 calipers, carriers, discs and pads. They fiesta brake hoses will fit the cossie calipers. You will also need four M10 bolts, around 30mm long and they MUST be high tensile, grade 10 or above. Dont buy some loose ones from Halfords or a motor factors as these will nearly always be grade 8.8. The amount of spacing required varies, typically around 4-5mm. Washers can be used but its not recommended because they tend to have burred edges which means they dont sit completley flat. Its best to have some spacers machined. HTH people 
Or as said use ST150 ones and save some work |

Oh yea. I paid £46 for mine complete with discs and pads of ebay, but i have an eye for a bargain  Expect to pay around £60 though ive seen them go for over £120

just bought a set of calipers off ebay for £40, then getting disks off a mate for under trade price as he has them hanging around, and then pads at trade price. Dunno what theyd be normal price, dread to think! |
