?5000  good god thats alot 2 turbo it. U'd b better off dropping a 2 litre lump in it as its cheaper even tho it'll only give u bout a 40BHP increase & not 50BHP so ur only losing on 10BHP. Or u could drop a reconditioned RS Turbo lump in there instead  .
But @ the end of the day its up 2 u on what u decide 2 do

Mate at ?5000, theres no way i was going to consider it. wanted a 2.0l lump but ideally want a turbo, already considered getting a FRST lump for it, but was questioning how reliable they are after having the 1.6 zetec and not a days trouble out of it over the last 7 odd years. |

5k could buy you a LOT better car than a fezzy too! Not that Im having a go, cus I love mine to bits, but if I had ?5000, I'd plough it into something that was already fast. Thats a load of wedge for not much power too, 50bhp can be done with nitrous for a lot less. As people have said, 2L conversion seems to be the way to go

?5k is silly money to turbo a 1.6 Buy a 2ltr Zetec turbo for ?3k 
Or just drop a 2ltr lump in it for a decent price (I wont post it up on here, as I know the people that do it wont appreciate it being publically broadcast, as prices vary ).
