117mph on mine, on a straight road. haven't tried it on a downhill yet... my wheels desperately need balancing though... |

In Germany, on the autobahn, I had an indicated 137 on a slight downhill in my 2.0 Si (I realise you asked about the 1.6 though). As most speedos read about 10 out at that kind of speed, I was probably doing around 127. |

i did ask bout the 1.6 but i am interested in 2.0 litre thinkin bout gettin the conversion done early next year but worried about reliability! was that on the 1.6 gearbox (127mph) ??? |

127 indicated, on the flat, with a passenger. Thats a 1.6, on a private test track obviously |

Yes mine was the 2.0 engine with the 1.6 gearbox. I was flat out at 7000rpm, but only for a very short time, I try to look after my car

115 on the clock on 15"s so whats that, somat like 105 or whatever, wasnt really trying hard though |
