Post subject:  Fiesta mk3 1.6si water rail hose to thermostat?
hi all, anyone know what size the hose pipe is that joins the front coolant rail to the thermostat housing?

I got a fusion fabrication coolant rail 10 years ago and not the rubber pipe that goes to the thermostat housing has got cut through by the jubilee clip.

looks like the hose that was on it was not original one, its around 5 inch long, but in not sure on the internal diameter, the water rail is

and this is the coolant pipe/rail that goes round the front of the engine:

any ideas if I can use a silicone pipe to do the job? I don't know the internal diameter of the hose though, the outlet on the thermostat housing is bigger then the water rail pipe. looks like the rubber pipe was stretched over it.

does anyone know the internal diameter of the hose at each end? and where I can get the hose from?

forgot to update but I got this sorted in the end, ordered a pipe from ebay and cut it to fit. no leaks everything solid.

forgot to add, I used a 19mm to 16mm internal diameter reducer elbow pipe 90 degrees elbow.
