i sat in my mates clio 1.8 16v and the seats really hold you in place much more thean the Si. the recaos are pretty good arent they?? how much will it set me back for the full lot. back and front seats, and door cards. are the door cards the same shape as the si too? or will there be extra bits cut out of them?? |

There not recaro's but do hold you in very well. Cant see the door cards fitting at all.The front seats will need modifying to fit the runners and i doubt the rears will fit either. For a decent later spec velour 16v interior your looking at between £50-100. You would be better off buying my full rs1800 recaro interior that will fit with modified runners for £130

Yeah, they're not Recaros as standard in the Clio but they're alright. RS Recaros are better though 
Mr Shortie, why've you got 'modified' runners? I just put Mk3.5 ones on my Recaros. |

I think he's wanting all of the RS Recaro kit in an Si. As in, he's sat in a Clio, felt the Recaro's and thought "I want some of that seatage in the Si". Most stuff is a straight swap from the RS to the Si, infact I don't think there's anything that wont fit. As above for prices

exactly!! i dont want the same ones as in the clio!! i want the FRST ones in mine, i know they go in the Si pretty easy. im lookin to do this in round july/august, so if anyone will be selling their lot then im interested. i couldnt find the whole lot on ebay. waht sort of price am i lookin at, max i want to spend is £150. |

frst interior is mint but thought Si's had recaros in aswell |

thay are really different. the si interior is good for the shoulders but doesnt really hold u in ur seat that much cos the sides arent as good as the recaro seats. |

The question in the 1st post was'nt very clear to me 
When i said modified runners i ment swapping over it was just quicker to write. Some people on other forums have had trouble fitting recaro's in there si's though. Im not planning on putting them in mine as they take a battering if you use the car every day. Certainly one of the best seats to come of the ford production line. As for the interior i have there is usual wear on drivers seat but the rest is mint.

definately worth getting over the si seats anyday, one of the best things i ever fitted

ah that interior looks mint for the age. cant take it off ur hands now as money is tight till june/july. if u still got them i will snatch them off u if the price is right cos suffolk is a little far from me. how much do u think a courier would do it for?? |

think its just the light, but those are the darker recaros, XR2i 16v Optional Recaros i beleive. theres a pic on the Fsi main site of them in the interior section, taken when it was a bit sunnier! |
