I have a mk4 fiesta si 1.25, not the most collectable of cars I know. it has been off the road for couple of years now and needs some work, the car has a certain sentimental value and just looking for peoples opinions on wether it would be worth fixing it and will they be future classics. Its basically going to cost me in repairs what it would be worth resale in good condition. failing that what are they worth spares/repairs as i feel its too good to scrap. Thanks for any input |

Hi, unfortunately they arent worth much at all, especialy it being the 1.25 instead of the 1.4 mk4 si. what is up with it? If it has sentimental value then it would be worth every penny fixing it up, stick a zs1.6 or puma 1.7 engine in with little fuss if you want to upgrade it makin sure you do the brakes aswel. |

As above I can't see it rocketing in value but if it has sentimental value only you can answer if its worth keeping. Personally I do think its great when i see older cars still going, there is a poverty spec Nova near me and its still going strong. I will say my projections for the small blue one give me another 20 years yet! ![]() |
