How are we all? Just going through idea's I've got for my Fiesta Turbo and got me wondering what peoples views are on the modified world? Which case do you fall into? For me I like a modified car if done properly, but also appreciate a nice standard example too. If mine had of been 100% standard when I bought it I would of left it that way and just made mint but I'm going modified with my Fiesta as it's already had a fair amount of modification engine wise. I've got to have big Bhp and big breaks and like to mix it up with wheels and suspension. So I suppose more OEM+ What's your views? |

Personally, for my own cars, I'm now a standard purist. I can't bring myself to actually do anything to a car that will forever change it (ie front mount on a Pulsar requires some bodywork cutting... Nooooo, can't do that!!)! However, I'm still a massive fan of modified cars obviously, as you say - if done right. Ideally, any car I own, I would have two of. One to modify, one to concourse! ![]() |

I like cars to look factory made so either standard or improved by oem. I like some modified cars however some cars like classic cars in my eyesshould never be touched with sillybody kits unlessits inspired by motorsport. As iv said to many a neon lover, it aint 2001 lol, so aslong as its cheesy max power stuff I like it. |

![]() I think the majority of people on here will be of the same ilk, we all love modified cars, but we all have good taste (well, most of us) and realise that certain things done to cars are just wrong. |

Standard examples are alright. But I think key things being changed makes all the difference. I.e a standard fiesta rs turbo. Those three spokes, bin them off for something nice like comps or something more appealing. Ride height as well to suit those wheels and whilst its not highly modified it makes a car. Although I can appreciate standard knes once they become classics. People that say "leave a mk5 zs alone!" Aa if there so rare is just silly. |

All depends for me. I'm never OTT on visual mods unless it was a cheap rat (scrote projects etc lol) Where as a project can be lairy if.. it looks good, has a reason for everything, and has power to back it up. Saying that, my next daily car being the A6, thats decked on its arse. Thats quite a mod. But looks the tits so all is well ![]() |
