Only thing that went wrong on my old mans was the thermostat housing failed a couple of times and the central locking went funny but turned out to be a key fob |

Focus' are generally very reliable cars. Not much goes wrong on them to be honest! |

thanks big g. cheers Danny, yeah two of my mates have em and they seem solid! Des, lower arms had gone on this one. was quite amusing, i know im nowhere near as knowledgable or as good at mechanics as most of you lot on here but i know enough to get by. the guy was a complete con, good job i went with my mate. lower arms had gone, needed to new front tyres, engine block, head, gearbox was coating in oil. massive oil spill underneath which he tried to cover up by saying 'his picasso has an oil leak which he had parked there'... hmm yah ok nobby! sounded like the calipers were sticking or wharped discs when he rolled it back. puddle of coolant, missing wing mirror glass... apart from that the engine sounded alright lol ![]() |
