Well with some news we have I have to start looking at a second car and it has to be big. So I'm thinking of what peoples thoughts of Galaxys, Zafiras, Sharans etc are! |

Budget? Weve got a 7seater vw caddy at work and its brilliant. Its strangely fast, has big brakes, and good fuel economy. |

We're not sure yet, but let's say low. I've been talking to someone about their touran and they rate it well, better than a zafira, so that may be a high end of the budget option. |

We've got a 2003 SEAT Alhambra 1.9 TDi 130 Sport, OK on fuel, loads of space for our three girls, ISOFIX on all the rear seats which was important to us. Has all the toys, climate control, cruise control, parking sensors, heated front screen. We looked at a Touran but the extra two seats in the boot put us off, the Alhambra has proper seats not ones that fold into the boot We looked at Galaxys, Sharans and Alhambras as they are all basically the same at the age we bought |

Well, been for a look around. We decided key points were storage space in some form of boot for the youngest's pushchair folded up. Then a requirement for good legroom as the entire family on both sides is 5ft 9 or taller (and usually taller). Good storage space options for being able to have the supplies and luggage for 4 young kids and three adults in there for a trip to skegvegas or holiday (potentially abroad by driving). Ease of use being another thing with 4 kids in total. Options have been opened up on age of the car as well due to the available funds from the potential fostering, noting that we would only get another car if we foster. And there was only going to be one winner. Our first visit was to Ford in Derby and after being well impressed by the Titanium then driving out and seeing older Galaxys, new Zafiras and other twaddle we are only going to get a new model Galaxy lol. Damn that thing is good. |
