Does it need to be genuine ford or can it be aftermarket? If aftermarket, im sure you could pick one up from a motor factors? But if you need ford, ask Tom on FT as Dave said. |

For what it's worth, when it comes to things like oil pumps, I would stick with OEM. |

The few people i been talking too... oddkidd they said best getting a OEM pump... I have spoke with Tom he hasnt got anything... ![]() ![]() Looks like rebuild could be on hold for a bit... |

high pressure oil pump helps with the tapping death rattle as it gets more oil into the head and the cam/cam lobes dont dry out |

What i have been told from Oddkidd Creations is to get a Standard pump and put a high pressure spring in it. Im just worried that a £60 cheaper pump could trash a £2k build.... Cheers for all the imput tho lads... |

fair enough - used one on a rebuilt efi on a S1 ERST - and it never tapped. oil feed to the head is a big problem with CVH's as the oil pumps arent much cop and the oil spray's in the head aren't that big ![]() |
