Hey. The wife and I are going on holiday. In july. two weeks.  In the Saxo  From North Wales to Lauterbrunnen Switzerland. Switzerland to the german black forest. The german Black forest around the Nurburgring  Then home. Its a trip enough for most cars let alone a 10 year old kit kat foil VTS. A service is a must. anybody else embarked on such a trip? share experiences and reccomendations on what to pack, buy, check? my list so far includes: 1. A rear beam. 2. A head gasket. |

A car transporter lol. I presume a good service and aslong as the car is healthy should be fine. I'd still take a few tools and the usual top up fluids but aslong as your not leathering it all the way there , there is no reason why a car should fail. |

 just main little things that you'll kick yourself if your stuck in the middle of nowhere with say no power steering fluid and a pipe popped off? All you need is a jubilee and some fluid but you haven't got any! Or just get AA Europe wide roadside assistance

what about tips for driving abroad? can brits speed on the autobahn? is france all toll roads? |

Far as I know anyone is allowed to speed on the autobahn. A lot of french motorway is toll, but going down the back roads takes so much longer! |
