Telling the driver to stop the car and that you're not getting back in until they're out of the drivers seat? Had to do this with the missus earlier. She was turning right at a crossroads traffic lights when it was on single green and the right filter not on (turn right if it's clear) and she went straight at a Focus turning left from the opposite direction. Then she was driving over the link road between two roundabouts and signalled and moved instantly into the wrong side of the road for the next roundabout. And even then still indicated wrong for both roundabouts (misleading a lorry into thinking she was leaving an exit earlier and so on). Then other little things like not able to keep the car straight, very poor positioning and very uncomfortable to sit in a car as a passenger when she's driving. I'm shocked that she has been driving 3 years longer than me and is just downright dangerous, which I've told her she is. Should I tell her she needs to do more than just read the highway code again? She can't do roundabouts, thought indicators are to tell other road users you're going that way instead of telling them your intention to go that way, never bothers with speed limits most of the time and when she does she thinks you start braking from the speed limit signs (ie. pelt at 30 signs from 50 and stamp on the brakes after the signs), never does mirror wiper and lights checks before driving. I may be anal about driving properly but this takes the biscuit! |

I have a friend, not a girl lol and he thinks his 1.2 clio is a F1 car. Does my nut in, the other day we went out and he was driving home fine, but suddenly when we got to his house he felt the urge to handbrake it around the corner, rag it past his house, handbrake it around, rag to his house and then skid to a stop. And he also keeps trying to "get it on 3 wheels" and i've told him that's not a good thing it means chasis flex.. but because he's always right it means he has a stiff car... lol Every time he does it, from inside it feels like the car is going to roll :/ |

My missis isn't bad at driving however manouvers are not her strong point and speed bumps mean go as fast as you can. To tackle her flaws I strategicly tell her what's she's doing wrong without making out I'm better than her which I think is the best peice of advice when dealing with woman. This is because they are always keen to learn but want to be seen as equal or better than men. Its achievable because men can bite their lip where women can't, that's why work places that are women orientated have unhappy atmospheres because all they do is bitch. |
