Im selling a 98 1.2 blue corsa for £500, cheap to run, reliable, no rust. It needs de-girlifying but im throwing in some angel headlights and light brows. |

He did say it will need to get a 27 stone bloke up a hill! ![]() ![]() Unfortunately, having some oomph to get a fatty up a hill then means more insurance, petrol costs, tax etc. Will a 106 even fit a 27 stone man in? I find them too small for me and the pedals too close together ![]() |

I think the corsa isnt bad for small car, hieght adjustable seat helps also. Puntos are also not bad in size in 5door form. Is this guy really 27stone? Whats he drove in the past? |

Any car will haul that weight. Just not fast. We once had a 22gallon barrel of beer and 4 lads with a total weight of 50 stone in the 1ltr 45bhp fiat Uno. Was fine. |

You need a TD! Or a larger engine cheap car, to make it easier. As Paul said though, it will be fine. Fi's 1.1 106 with 4 people / 40 stone+ in is fine. |

Cheers Peeps, tis true, there seems to be a ridiculous amount of mondeo/fiesta/306 diesels ![]() We were also talking about 12000 miles a year so a diesel with torque is a must it seems lol As for 27 stone yes really ![]() |

Theres nothing wrong with diesels, my van accelerates like a trooper, all that torque makes the extra weight seem less and at 296,992 miles its still going strong. |
