Guessing you don't mind changing turbo and injectors? Mate of mine ran 220 through his escort on standard internals but think that's pretty much the boundaries ![]() |

About 200bhp is the reliable limit tbh paul Uprated injectors, t3 turbo, larger intercooler, mapped, kent/piper cam and vernier pulley With uprated internals the block is good for 300bhp ![]() |

Yeah I do like the sound! 200bhp would be a good power increase. Its only ideas, and cvh turbo would be alot less hassle |

Post subject: | Re: Rs Turbo engines.... |
so what's the cost to get to 200 BHP from standard And then what's the cost to get to 300bhp? I assumed they were good blocks to reach 300bhp without having any internals changed... But I'm with Paul, no nothing about the CVH engine really. Quite shocked... Paul - Civic Si it up ![]() |

See my train of thought on this was... Oh I fancy a turbo in the si... hmmm zetec turbo costs a bomb, but if a cvh can reach a decent amount without too much cost, than I might go that route. Or... I could just save up and buy a newer car in a few years... Ry... i love the sound of the teg.. id love some vtec-boost ![]() |

I hate to admit it but its so nice to have a newer car, well mines 2002 but so much more refined, as a daily its worth having the newer car. Older cars are to be in a garage looked after. |

not bad from a 130bhp base! although it does depend on management to - cosworth management would help alot |

Post subject: | Re: Rs Turbo engines.... |
No it doesn't ![]() Adam - yes, 130bhp up to 300bhp is a good achievement. Just seems like a lot of effort to get to 300bhp though, with an old old engine. |

Post subject: | Re: Rs Turbo engines.... |
not to much effort - although if you had the 1.9 block and cossie management it would help alot! but the noise of a cossie managed CVH is swweeeetttt and lol at no rust issues! |
