Does anyone use either of these? are either worth getting? I'm looking to practice doing stuff on my almost rolling shell of a car. as a total newb im gonna try and grind back some bigger rust patches and see how well i can spray it.

I know the dremmel comes with grinding bits but they are quite small. would it still be good enough for the rust? and what other kind of uses do people get out of them?

cheers

Would think Die grinder bit small for most jobs apart from rusty stone chips better off with a flap wheel in a drill or flexI drive

hha nah dremel is best for grinding away small things like rusty bolts or shaving plastic bits down, or embossing the text on rocker covers!

angle grinder best for removing rust, or a wire brush attachment for drills like said

Don't bother with the Dremmel. I have one, it's a hobby tool at best. It's capable yes, but the bits that come with don't last long on heavy work.

As said, a drill with a wire brush is one of the better things for your job :)
