right guys/girls i need opinions on some cars. People who own them or know people who own them or have just driven them once .. be honest !!! BMW 520/525d, Audi A6 2.0tdi/2.7tdi, Merc C220cdi of 08' ish age  this is mega important so please dont give any stupid answers or anything pleeeeeease

525d is the only thing I've had the pleasure with.. love em lol But the other 2 would be good? What use? MPG important? |

Audi or the Beemer! im not a fan of mercs. Think there much of a muchness mind and boils down to personal preference. mine being the audi! |

for me it would be the BMW, and id go for the 520 D sport and in manual and grey leather it has lower immisions so lower tax bracket, and good MPG The BMWs have great interiors , and look fantastic with the 19 inch wheels, so without a doubt its the BMW for me the omly dowside with the 520Diesel is its a little underpowered, and the turboos ahve a history of letting go, and parts are expensive in comparison to other cars Ive had a BMW for the past 10 years , and ill always have one in the pool of cars i own |

right .. well in all fairness im not keen on the mercs because i think they are boring lol but whatever lol ... mpg is massively important use, motorway journeys and some town driving, long periods of use either way. and budget ... well not a cheap shit one, newer the better and lower mileage the better but ...say max £14k manual or auto doesnt bother me as long as mpg isnt a major issue, a few less mpg for an auto wouldnt swing me to a manual but if its say 50mpg(e.g.)for a manual and 40mpg for the auto i would get a manual  has to have some options : full leather, (preferably)satnav, cruise control, trip computer etc ..... also on a quick note ive just had a nose about the passat ! that looks a hell of a lot of car for the money toys and spec wise ! any input on them ?

Its the VAG Diesel engine come in PD90,110,130,150 & 170 (i think thats all of them) But bascially there awesome engines. |

i had a 58 plate passat estate 2.0td and it was pukka the only thing i would say i didnt like was the auto handbrake as it was abit confusing at times other than that i bloody loved it |

Yer iam running the vag pd150 lump and no complaints about performance or MPG. At 140k it's still running like new

haha silly you ben  erm ... well i have landed me a new job basically but it requires some VAST outlay to start lol a 08-new luxury saloon/estate car and a £665 licence  but i could be earning a nice healthy wage
