For what purpose, budget ?

for me it would be the BMW, and id go for the 520 D sport and in manual and grey leather

it has lower immisions so lower tax bracket, and good MPG

The BMWs have great interiors , and look fantastic with the 19 inch wheels, so without a doubt its the BMW for me

the omly dowside with the 520Diesel is its a little underpowered, and the turboos ahve a history of letting go, and parts are expensive in comparison to other cars

Ive had a BMW for the past 10 years , and ill always have one in the pool of cars i own

right .. well in all fairness im not keen on the mercs because i think they are boring lol but whatever lol ... mpg is massively important use, motorway journeys and some town driving, long periods of use either way. and budget ... well not a cheap shit one, newer the better and lower mileage the better but ...say max £14k manual or auto doesnt bother me as long as mpg isnt a major issue, a few less mpg for an auto wouldnt swing me to a manual but if its say 50mpg(e.g.)for a manual and 40mpg for the auto i would get a manual has to have some options : full leather, (preferably)satnav, cruise control, trip computer etc ..... also on a quick note ive just had a nose about the passat ! that looks a hell of a lot of car for the money toys and spec wise ! any input on them ?

i had a 58 plate passat estate 2.0td and it was pukka
the only thing i would say i didnt like was the auto handbrake as it was abit confusing at times
other than that i bloody loved it
