Last time I got 14.8 but now few more mods so 14.5 is about current spec, but im thinking of making car more standard to make it run sweeter and nicer to drive, fiesta si are about the same weight as mk4 escy so should give me rough idea |

im not 100% your pushing that figure my spec is 2litre with stage 2 head port and polished, kent fast road cams, im using the HO inlet, have a dastek piggyback unichip and remap with graph showing 142bhp but anyway without mods etc i would hazard a guess at the 1/4 mile time being round the 16-17 sec mark |

It would be similar to an rs1800 if you can find the time for that. |

Are you sure that R32 golf was trying? They usually do low to mid 14's as fairly standard. Your car sounds nice ![]() |

yeah thats with knackered piston rings which i only noticed when the breather was chuckin oil out everywhere should be more but the inlet and the rings are the restriction ![]() |

i thought that tbh thought the ford inlets restricted the power to 150-160 bhp? will121 is running 170bhp and thats with itb's and dalsy is running 220bhp and he has everything you can have on a 2litre st170 lump albeit a turbo or charger or nos |

im sure dalsy had nos. But yeah the HO inlet has a restriction around that mark. |

Maybe we should start a thread of proven 1/4 times (wet and dry) with all posted times being put into the original post. I'd like to think I can run low 13's on my current set up. |

the 1.8 escort i had was setup to 149bhp with the ho manifold and std exhaust manifold, so 170 would be in reach with std manifold but hard work, itbs are the way for power |
