I hope he didn't just unwrap that himself and he got the paint weather proofed too! |

The '500' badge on the back looks so chav it is beyond horrid - is that standard? I'd of left it wrapped.. |

They are panther black as standard but the paint isn't weather proofed because of the wrap over the top. That's why when you buy one they give you a big sheet with peel off matt black circles for stone chip ![]() |

Focus rs500 is a big ford fail almost as bad as the probe, they should of made it into a 500bhp 4wd beast not a rs with some upgrades and a shitty wrap |

i like the rs500 its meant to be chavvy and in your face it definitely stands out thats for sure if they made it 500bhp 4wheel drive they would of wanted alot more than 40k it is a family hatch back after all ![]() |

i cant see how its been a big fail either, they sold out before they where released. its a great car, i like the matte black, looks very nice in panther black but panther black is common on fords so i would prefer the matte. |

It only sold because of the rareity factor. To me if there gonna make a ltd edition rs it should be a beast not just a focus rs with mountune upgrades you can do that to a normal rs |

you can say the same for the st500's its limited because it marks end of production iirc if they made 500hp monsters they wouldnt of made 500 of them plus whats wrong with 300hp and front wheel drive? the new transmission and suspension setups prove 4wd is not needed with 300 horse power so keeps the production costs down also why design a whole new car just for a limited number of big powered cars? they have done what there good at, taking a family car and giving it and ASBO i love fast fords ![]() |

I see nothing wrong with FWD in this or anything new. You can't say something is worse or better because it has a certain drive train - there's more to making a car fast around a track than just its transmission system... |

http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-video/rs500-vs-clio-cup/ Interesting 5 minute clip ^ Agreed Darren. By rights, the Fiesta RS should be on equal par with the Focus RS, if not even more able! I'm not a fan of the new Focus that much at all, I think the Focus RS is quite horrid, but the Fiesta Mk7 is lovely and the Fiesta RS is really going to excite me I think ![]() |

im not sure the focus and clio should be vs each other it should be the megane and focus, fiesta and clio and i think the fiesta rs (if they pull their finger out) will be very impressive |

I love the Focus RS, I really do. And they have indeed done wonders with the setup of the FWD system, it performs brilliantly for FWD, and that's the wonders of modern technology and innovative designs! But, you can't escape the fact that thing torque steers like a bitch still, and it is still limited by the very physics that dictate how much power a car can handle through it's transmission. 300bhp standard through the front wheels, fine. Up that power and see how far you get without making the car undriveable, or so it can't make use of the power. I really am not slagging the car off in any way whatsoever... I really do love what Ford done with it. But I just don't see why they didn't do a 4wd version. An RS is an RS, it WILL sell out no matter what they do to it (or don't do to it). And on the actual topic, I like the wrapped version, as well as this one. |
