http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=162084817168408 for non bookfacers/lazy arses Forge Summer Performance Car Action Day 2011 Book Tickets - http://www.goliathreservations.com/res_ ... ivityId=21 Yes! The Summer Performance Action Day – Sponsored by Forge Motorsport – is back at Castle Combe Race Circuit on Saturday 10th September 2011. What’s On 100 Owners Clubs ‘000s performance cars Top quality exhibitors All-day track action Special demonstration laps Drifting On target to feature over 100 Owners Clubs displaying 1500 pristine cars in the Paddocks and representing just about every marque worthy of the term “performance”, this is a show not to be missed! Forge Motorsport will have a massive display of performance-enhancing products for you to see, touch and purchase, as well as knowledgeable staff available to offer advice and guidance to you if you want to upgrade the spec of your car. Attendance by our tuning and performance friends at Eibach Springs, Scorpion Exhausts, Pipercross Filters, Tarox Brakes and Litchfield Imports guarantees expert knowledge across all the main performance spectrums – all you have to do is ask them! All these, and many more tuning and styling companies, will be situated in the centre of the main paddock, so make a point of going to browse their products and find out what you can do to enhance the performance of your car. All-day track action is the focus for the Forge Motorsport Summer Performance Action Day, with every “track minute” from 9am to 5pm devoted to performance cars doing what they do best. There’s a limit of just 28 cars on the circuit at any one time, so spread over our wonderfully scenic 1.85mile course allows for plenty of tarmac space, and of course visitors can stand and view most of the circuit from either the banking at Camp Corner, or at the infamous Quarry Corner. One of the specialities for 2011 is the “Subaru Saturday”, where we will have a special display area just for this performance brand, as well as special track time sessions to enable their owners to demonstrate just how efficiently these cars can get round a circuit. Something not to be missed! Whilst we’re on the subject of track demos, we’ve also invited the Drift Team back who will be bringing along their specialist cars and drivers to demonstrate how to get round a corner at high speed AND at right-angles to the tarmac – if you’ve never seen drifting before, you’re in for a lot of fun! And just because you may be outside the main paddock doesn’t mean you miss out on the facilities offered by Castle Combe Circuit – clean and plentiful toilets are spread out around the circuit, and catering units (open from 8am for that first bacon roll – Mmm!) are conveniently positioned at all major viewing points. So come along to Castle Combe Circuit for the Forge Motorsport Summer Performance Action Day on Saturday 10th September for a great family day out – ‘000s of performance cars for you to see, all day track action, demonstration laps, loads of exhibitors to talk to and reasonably priced catering – all this and it’s only £10 per adult and kids under 16 get in FREE.
