Right, this is bearing in mind that the missus is getting close to buying a Mk6.5 Zetec S TDCi, I said I would offer give her suggestions on what else she may be able to buy with her budget. So the criteria consists of..!: £6000 Maximum 6 years old or less 40,000 miles or less Minimum 45MPG Respectable insurance and tax Any ideas? All of the above is way out of my comfort zone with car searches, aside from the budget  I liked the idea of a Mk5 Golf GTi... She didn't...  Thoughts? |

How about a seat Leon or ibza, my girlfriend has a Leon diesel and loves it and generally cheaper than a golf |

Ry you do realise ford "quoted" 90bhp with the ZS TDCi yet a standard one was RR'd in fast ford with 120bhp one with panel filter and exhaust and remap made 136bhp and near enough 200lb.ft i think  do it! i want one |

zetec s chipped. end of. high spec one, half leather, electric mirrors. best mk6 fez, more torque and better handling than a st. i should have got one. |

One car people didn't mention.. Skoda Fabia VRS! http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/specs/Det ... eriv=26138 Remaps see a lot of good things with these, and they are very capable. Going to test drive one soon and see what they are like
