I remember them fingers, had some years ago lol. The strip acts as an earth to stop static traveling through you. The car is sat on rubber so naturally its not earthed, I remember watching something saying that the safest place to be during lighting is in a car. |

Apparently it works, I remember my mom suffering from it years ago and her dr said to fit them prior to a trip to the seaside and it stopped her spewing carrots all the way there!! |

How on earth does that work?? Car sickness is caused by something in the ears which is used for balance and the eyes telling the brain two different things. For instance, if you're looking at the inside of the car, it's all still, no movement, you're sitting down. And yet your inner ear thingy mabob is telling your brain that there's movement! Confused signals caused car sickness. Well, motion sickness as it can happen on any transportation. Simple way to stop it - look out the fekkin window! ![]() And I've noticed I get electric shocks depending on what shoes I wear. Change your shoes instead ![]() |

Google is killing off people's brain cells. I've now banned Google in the pub. You know when there's that conversation, about a film, or a song, or something in the news, or anything, and you can't quite remember the name of someone or something? What did we used to do - sit there and rack our brains until the answer was tehre. Now though, it's too easy to say "I'll Google it", and so our brains are not getting worked enough! I Googled the name of that thing in the ear, but knew the reasoning behind it all before that ![]() |
