I'm looking at some cover again, as mines just run out. AA are a bit expensive, RAC were all arseholes to me, Green flag want about the same as the AA! lol Anyone heard anything about Kwik fit? £40 for the year with full UK coverage and overnight accomadation. and obviously all the rest. (With 15% cashback ![]() Seems good to me just wondering if anyone has any experience with them |

i would go with AA matey, i'm with RAC too, i had em out twice, neither would call out a recovery truck as it would cost me £100 and void my cover apparantly! where as i was with the AA for a year, and they helped out alot. basically even though the price you pay may seem alot but it covers everything if its the top notch. i had breakdown cover, home start and recovery. had to use them a few times when things went wrong with my old car and they had no problems calling out a recovery flat bed and didn't cost me a penny, one time i wanted them to take my car from junction 22 on the m6 southbound all the way to london colney, they said they would charge me but i recieved no invoice about the extra mileage and the driver of the truck didn't say anything about it either!! i'm gonna go back to AA once i'm off RAC |

Yeah I've had aa out loads they've replaced a clutch cable whereas the rac charged me.£60 to tow me 20 seconds around a corner and proceed to leave me at a random garage and find my own way home. Kwik fit seem good and cheaper will check aa prices might be worth the bit extra as I know there gppd already |

You must've had the cheapest of the cheap covers then, as I'm with the RAC and have never paid a penny on the few occasions I've used them. With the Pulsar being 4wd it HAS to have a truck, which I've used 3 times, twice from Northampton ![]() And with the Fiesta they changed the clutch cable for me near Silverstone and not charged anything! |

Been with both the AA and RAC and would rate them both highly, they both offer decent cashback too. |

Nah I didn't have cover so.I paid £60 for.the year £60 for the tow and then.got dumped £70 the next day for i5 to be fixed at a gatahe. Kwik fit just seems to do the same cover as the other two but cheaper. Hmm |

Was with the RAC previously and in a year had to call them out 3 times. Brilliant Service!! I'm due to buy some more cover soon as with the car the way it is, it may be worth the peice of mind again. |

I use to alternate between the RAC and AA, basically so it was always a new policy and I got cashback each time. As it is I have no breakdown cover on the C2 right now, I trust it. |

Good thing I found with my RAC is when I had my accident with my black Si, they provided me with a solicitor as I had legal cover with them who sorted everything out from start to finish and got me a damn good amount of cash, paid for physio etc ![]() And as is stadard practice on most of the breakdown services now, it covers me and not a prticular car, so if I'm with someone and they break down I can use mine on it ![]() The only problem I find (well not so much a problem as I'd rather they didn't touch the Pulsar anyway) is that they open the bonnet and don't know where to start, so I'm basically paying for a low loader at any time ![]() |
