Just looking at the new Renaultsport Megane (not my cup of tea personally - preferred the big ass of yesteryear) and the video is quite cool how they have a 3D moving model of the engine conbustion process: http://www.renaultsport.co.uk/roadcars/ ... fault.aspx Which leads me on to asking, does anyone have any videos of this kind of thing? I find it fascinating in a nerdy way ![]() |

I'm the same as you ry, love seeing things like that showing exactly how an engine work, find it fascinating! ![]() Nearly bought a battery operated Haynes model engine once which was seethrough and showed you all the moving parts and what they did, but then remembered how old I was ![]() ![]() |

that is amazing, it makes you appreciate whats under your bonnet. id like to see how some fast road cams make a difference, like a side by side comparison on a video like that. would also be good to have a sort of program where you have a 3d representation of a running engine in the video but where your free to explore it within different layers to examine at yourown pace if you know what i mean. |

I used to have loads of old vids of things like this. I got facinated to such a degree with how everything in a car works, thats what made me go to college and get a diploma in mechanical engineering and become a mechanic ![]() |
