I know on here some people have Toads and others have Cliffords, and there are a few scorpions as well. so which is the best alarm in your opinion?

I was set to get the Toad Ai606 but then read a few dodgy reviews, i generally dont care much about online reviews as the general rule is that the people who use them either have an axe to grind and give 100% negative or are somehow related to the product and therefore only give 100% positive. but i have read a few things that are appear too much to be totally without its reasons. So basically I'd like your opinions which will be honest and reliable (hopefully)

I'd quite like to know why you like it or if you've had any problems. this is quite a serious spend and so i want to get it right first time :)

Cheers in advance guys

I'd get what Tango has..

£160 ish fitted,
Full alarm
Remote central locking
2 key fobs
and they even fit a boot pop! All that done and fitted at your door for that price. Bargain.

Had a Clifford on the Fiesta, had no issues so got a Clifford on the Pulsar. No issues, no false alarms, all good :) Can't comment on the others as I've not experienced them, but Concept 650 gets the thumbs up from me :)

You'll find good and bad results for any alarm - general rule of thumb is that the alarm is only as good as the person who fits it :)

And one more worthy point, which can be said for the majority of things, listen more to the opinions of those who have had and lived with the product for a while, not those who read one thing, and spout it back out as gospel ;)

Yeah Chris that was the plan, I've got his details ready to call and everything.
Evil DES I can't agree more and that's why I posted on here to get the opinions of people who have actually had these alarms.

Ok cool. Tango is Barry toad registered, I've seen the majority of people who complain do so that the fitter isn't registered and so if there is a problem nothing can be done about it?
