Hello,

Ive sourced nearly all my parts, so will begin assembling.

One bit i have become stuck on, is that on my mondeo 2.0 engine, the alternator mounted at the back, on the fiesta, it mounts on the front.

The alternator bracket on the 2.0 came off after a few bolts, and undoing a small pulley thing on the bottom by taking out the middle nut?

I then removed this huge bracket from the back of the engine, it had about 10 T50 Star/torx bolts holding onto the block, this must have been part of the rear engine mount?

What i want to know is do i take the bracket the alternator is mounted on from the 1.6 lump and fit that, and the same with the power steering pump?

Bit confused, i will take pictures in the morning of what i took off and from where if you confused, i just can't work out how im going to mount the alt to the front if it was designed to be on the back on the mondeo, the power steering pump is on the front on the mondeo where the alternator would be on the fiesta?

Im a bit confused, ill take pics if you like?

Just want to know how im supposed to mount the alternator and power steering pump from a 1.6 onto the 2.0 ?

in short, Yes

You swap all the ancillary brackets etc off the 1.6 to the 2ltr
they'll probably be a pain in the arse to get off the 1.6, mine were.
