G'day all. Well I hope you have had a better start to the new year than me. I was this morning woke up to one of the neighbours knocking the door, to tell me that my window was smashed and my stereo had been nicked.
Yes, I have an alarm, and yes I did hear it during the early hours of this morning, but quite frankly, I had a bit to drink last night, so was in no state to get up and check. They were considerate enough not to rip the wires out, so it's all intact ready to have another stereo thrown in. But I cant quite understand why they never took anything else. Had cd's in there, and a shiney momo gearknob - worth more than the stereo itself.
Yes, I am also aware that for probably the first time since I've had the car, I left the face off IN the fooking car. Stupid I know, but was rushing about last night prior to going out so it just slipped my mind.
Well, I now have the new glass in, and on the search for a new stereo.
A word of warning people, make sure you take everything out of your car. All it takes is for you to leave it in once, as I did.
But I can assure you, I will NOT be owning this car for much longer.
