I want to paint my calipers Ford Purple Velvet However i don't know how to make it heat resistant I hear that in order to make a prefered colour heat resistant you will need high temperature primer and laquer But where can you get the stuff from, i doubt Halfrauds do it. Confused much ![]() |

what about some custom powdercoaters?? i know of a powdercoater local to me that does kandy colours etc |

Is powdercoating heat proof lol? I'm not that good with spray things. (I just go to the spray shop... and get it done haha) And where do you live? |

i got my mondy mk3 calipers for a 300mm conversion done on my escort, got em powdercoated glossy red and they resist it big time mate. and they clean up alot easier than painting!!! |

no lol. i'm in hertfordshire lol. hemel hempstead, if you want to come up and get that exhaust i'm selling and you could give me the calipers and i'll take em to the powdercoaters to get em done |

yh powdercoating is the way foward big time. it comes out a lot better than painting them. |

Phone these guys Adam, http://www.kandnfinishers.co.uk/ They did a chassis for us at work and they are really good, i think they do any colour you want to, suppose all you gotta do is ask! lol. I dont think they are overly expensive too. |

powdercoating does do a great job but my cam cover is now starting to 'bubble' with the heat i guess so i am looking at what to do with a spare cover i have purchased. anyone used these before ? https://www.usautomotive.co.uk/store/sc ... ategory=47 |
