i know, i didnt realise how bad they where as i rarely drive it and they are fine on the outside, i think the tracking needs sorting out, there is abit of camber on the wheels can that cause serious tyre wear on the inside?

Mine did the same with my Si wheels. I had it on my Pug wheels as well, they could have gone bang at any time
Not sure what sort of thing it is, camber or otherwise, but thats most likely

if it is camber i dont have a clue how to sort it, the wishbones are standard so i dont know what causes it, on the last mot they said there is abit of play in the ball joints, could that cause it?

maby but that tyer is bad

both front ones are worn the same, its crazy. i will get tracking done then see if that makes a differance.

get the wishbones changed asap then get tracking done or it could go wrong i left mine a week to long and put my si in a ditch over 5 years ago i was not happy, since then the wishbones would last 3 months max as it is 60mm lowered so in the end i bought area six adjustable camber wishbones

i dont know how low it is but as i said before the wheels hit the arches everytime i go over a speed bump too fast and when i say too fast im talkin just 20mph lol. when i got back it started goin flat, how lucky was i lol

wheels hit arches on bumps? sounds like ur shocks hav gone
n them wishbones dont last a minute without polybushes so id have them looked at man
i used to have escort gti with 35mm gmax shocks n springs n it was eatin a set of wishbones every 2-3 months n they were fords!!!
so i got fed up n polybushed EVERYTHING lol
seemed to do the trick

so if i get polybushes fitted will i be ok with standard wishbones?

i cant guarantee it like but i bought wishbones with polybushes second hand n then poly'd arb n polyb'd the bk beam also

the thing is when you lower it you put more stress on all the tracking and wotnot stuff
i had two escort gtis 1 got wrote off by an evo n i was parked
n the other ones steering rack snapped wile doin 40 plus round a bend n i hit the curb. first thing to buckle was the wishbone
it was shaped like a 'Z' after lol
not funny at the time tho
i wud look at your shock tho as it seems (from wot you wrote) to be buggered
give the car a good bounce on all corners, it should bounce down then up then settle iirc

they seem ok, the back one barely bounce but i think thats just how they are meant to be. i am after some new suspension but not yet as im not too flush with cash lol. can anyone recommend a good set up? (that aint overly expensive)

standard shocks with 35 mm springs
plus some good polys all round but they are pricey
is your front end spaced out? as that will increase the neg camber it looks like you got.
i had 35mm springs with the gmax shocks n it gave me 5 degree camber n i had minimal wear on inside so if yours is lowered more the neg camber will be more ya get me lol
you really need to get it laser tracked tho
