Clipped a curb the other night 
My first car so Im pretty gutted. 
Wheels gone up into the boot, torn the strut and pulled the body in. The beams snapped to there the hub carrier is welded on. Theres more rust than metal now too. Bring on a 3 door project.

Im fine cheers mate. only a normal size, in tesco swansea. Was tired and clipped it (single lane) at about 10mph. I got a new beam today, and damper so maybe put a strut brace in and let it live a fewmore weeks 
the old beam...

ouch  poor u and poor fezzy im suprised u didnt damage the wheel ur the tyre with that if it looks ok check the tyre with a fine tooth comb (for buldges in the tyre)

Think if I was going faster the wheel would proberly just jumped up the curb, but the load must have just built up with no where to go. I put a new rear beam on, blead the brakes and its working. Just tempory though put a strut brace in for good measure.
The arch is so rusty its never going to pass anther MOT. |

clipped a kerb?!? clip the corner and snagged a spoke on it by the looks of the damage, either that or you're speedo is a bit out.. least you're ok, and about the rust.. get it seen to quick before it gets any worse, could be terminal! |
