Well I spent the day yesterday helping my brother sort his house/garage's and we came across two black bags full of our old scalextrics stuff from years ago. So I decided to take it and set some of it up in my lounge...I forgot how much fun it was. Track is very dusty but will give it a wipe and it will be as good as new, i just wanted to set some up to have ago bottom three corners are 45 degree banked! Just thought id share as it really is good fun, takes me back to being a child!

o yea the black bag on the top left is full of track to



and the two cossies...mine was always hendy ford

My cousin found his set not long ago and set his up in his room. We spent all day trying to drift perfectly around one of the corners

ive got that bag full two so may set up a massive track around the room, i just dont want to take it down so its probably staying in my lounge a while now, quick 5min race each day...landed

dude when you go over alex's house ask him for a go, honestly its addictive fun trying to get faster on each corner and straight without crashing.

I think my one came with a Mk1 Mondeo and a BMW 3 series.

Should be worth some money one day i recon

used to love this, had metros, xr2is, touring beamers and f1 cars. the first three sets had light up lights. I used to pull the shell off so it was just the back wheels and the metal guide. they go like stink then

also you can make jumps, just bridge the gap with metal paperclips. adds some fun.

I used to love my scalextric set.

I had two escort cossies (white one and michellin blue and yellow one), along with a scooby, lambo and jag xk.

Couldnt stop playing with it when I was younger!

Miss being young now but driving real full size fast fords makes up for that!
