The easiest way to disable the ABS system is to cut the two belts off the drive shafts. they wrap around the driveshaft just after the gearbox on the near side and a bit further away on the offside.
I dont know if its 'dangerous' or not. Depends how you define 'dangerous'
I think it's ok to drive without them to be honest. Just take the bulb out the dash.
Ford will sell them I'm sure, but I don't know if they need calibrating or anything if the systems been mess with. Most people consider it more effort than its worth as it's a crap system and can be equally as dangerous with it as without it
