Need a good reliable, cheap to run vehicle, needs to carry min of 4 and have room for tool's/spares etc to use as a tow vehicle for the 106, don't want to really spend much more than 1k, most likely a diesel, but what is there? Ideas? Here's the ones i've thought of *306 estate *406 estate *Renault Scenic |

I need it to be reliable as the plan is to get rid of the WRX and use the estate as my daily too, so can't be doing with it breaking down all the time as my new job is based a 'Tad' further than my last and would cost a fortune for a Taxi! |

1996 one never let him down apart from a leaky aerial, but it didn't affect the car 2002 one only let him down when the alternator belt snapped ![]() and when he was tired after working 18 hours straight and drove into a kerb and burst a tyre ![]() ![]() |

So the estate can tow less than the Hatch, crazy shit. Car will be 750kg max, not using a trailer, will use a dolley (easier to store). Although i have seen this, its 1.5k more than i want to pay, which is like the cage + it fitted. ![]() http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/ww ... egLetter=T |

Even thought about Berlingo's as they can be picked up for less than a K, but they only have 2 seats. ![]() |

Berlingo Multispace has 5 seats. I want to be able to tow, but isnt using a dolly illegal on the motorways? Which is what Id want to tow on mainly. Hopefully my Escort Van will be able to tow enough weight. |

One of these Dollies. ![]() I think your thinking of a 'A' Frame, as RAC Etc use the above and it's what some motorhome owners use for there smart cars etc so must be aloud on motorways, i've seen other track cars towed via them. |
