I only go to Shell and use V-power or if not, Total. none of my cars have never run right on BP fuel, even their special stuff, and especially not on supermarket fuel. |

Mine runs fine on petrol from asda. You do know the supermarkets are just supplied by the more well known petrol places, its just which one is sorting asda near you. |

Shell is all i ever use. Asda/all supermarket fuel tends to have addatives, and the octane rating is sometimes lower due to that, thats why its cheaper.. but makes your car run worse. It also to do with the amount of olefins in the fuel too, that basically is tar, and supermarket fuel tents to have more of that, might only be a tiny percentage (like 2%) but, it clogs up the injector needle. Therefore making it either not open properly/enough, or stay open, causing wasted fuel.. Ill stop now, i could go on for ages, did an injector cleaning course as part of my mechanics.. so know all about it lol |

i use any fuel, the cheapest. never had a problem in any car. when i had the xr2i i would use fourstar/lrp if i could, as it ran more efficient and better than with unleaded. |
