My main reasons for wanting the change are really all down to light. During the day you can hardly see the brake lights, and at night they aren't brilliant (But visible) The only thing is, I do a lot of early hours driving, on a road populated by quarry dump trucks, so I want them to see when I brake, especially during winter (I don't trust derbyshire's weather). I know most people hate hate lexus style, but I think the black ones make a suitable replacement, look a bit more up to date, and look fairly sexay to boot.

personally i'd keep the smoked ones, i think lexus lights are the work of the devil. if you put stock ones on you could always tint the indictators with light spray, maybe red or smoked????

Im just gonna get rid of option 1/3 now

I was thinking that, kinda like an RS accesory light for the Mk 4, but then i'd have a right time masking the shape.

Or, I could keep the lexus ones for driving, and smokes for shows???

erm, keep with smoked, get a 3rd brake light (in spoiler or in boot!)

its a hard to say which i prefer i think the smoked ones look real cool and the lexus ones look nice to b honest on your car, but i'd go with paul's opinion and put a third brake light on and keep them smoked

i would purchase some clears and paint the bits the brake and the reflector area red, saw it at ford fair this year on a red zetec-s it looked proper smart, when mine gets mk4 rear that's wot 'm doin.....
