was at south end cruise last night and got pulled over for my number plate which is black and silver which is fair enough but they also fined me for my bonnet raisers (wtf) and my bloody sun stripe grr, i got a fine about number plate ( again thats fair enough ) but why a fine for bonnet raisers

number plate i knew what was wrong with it so i played dumb but exactly bonnet raisers arnt illegal but apparently they are he said what if a pedestrain steps out gets their hand caught lol there hand would go to the bigger part of the gap? and sunstripe i got mot pass with it

court because of my warnings i think i just have to wait and wee what they say i guess

well southend is a bit of a hotspot

try having a starter motor fail in the one lane each way seafront in an Xr3i cabby

lol dont go there my battery keeps dieing after about 2 hours so i look like a tit trying to start the car whilst the engine is turning over realllyyyyyy slowwwwwwww,

o ye another thing he said about my number plate is that i have ford fiesta 1.25 16v zetec on it in really small letters he said thats illegal, nearly every bloody can has small writing on there number plates now ??

no ive already checked this the little writing isnt illegal ive been to the crawley AND east grinstead police station and checked this its NOT illegal but it obviously has to be very small, i know alot of other people who have this and had no problems, and bonnet rasiers arnt illegal either ive never had a problem with these either been on the car over a year now and i get pulled at least twice a week for check ups

NO. Anything other than the place where the plate was made and the BS whatever numbers makes any plate illegal. Anything other than the proper flags at the side is illegal. Plates without the BS whatever number or where they were made are illegal (unless on a car which is before a certain date)

But running around with anything other than white fronts and yellow rears is asking for trouble. So having other writing wouldnt matter as its illegal in the first place.

Bonnet raisers are not illegal.

Sun strips shouldnt be illegal unless your wipers hit it.

Why you could go to court is abit daft?? they should just be on the spot fines.

So in all honesty, 2 out of 3 things is your own fault im afraid.

i hoipe the raisers are not illegal cause i have got mine raised at front and the back so i hope i dont get pulled up for it

Why fit raisers anyway? Possibily the most homosexual mod ever conceived in my valued opinion. If you fit plates expect to be told off. If you mod your car, expect to be targeted, simples. Don't like it drive a normal car.

guys i know the plates were just acted dumb though, it was the main rs meet but loads of stuff turn up usualy at least 10 magazine feature cars to its good,

Wiith the number plate markins though every cars got them nowadays but im not gonna argue the case of the number plate.

On the fine slip he gave me it just had the number plate didnt have anything about the raisers or sun strip but he apparently gave me a warning but didnt get no warning split and nothing about raisers or sun strip was written down anywehere

thats what i thought to be honest if i didnt have a peice of paper with it on just kindda scared me slightly, i go every month so will defonatly take some next time, i got to know the guy who owns the 402 bhp focus on cover of this months PF hes picking me up from work next tuesday and taking me for a spin
