everyone gets bored of their cars eventually. There's only so many things you can do before you need to move onto something new in the end. 1.5k - that will sell easily. ![]() |

Its not a definate.. if I get offered money from the right person it can go... Otherwise it will most likely stay with me, and sit in the garage over winter to decide what to do. The bubbling coming through the filler cap area pissed me off when I saw it today, as to get it mint would be welding in another, which would be fine on a normal fiesta but this would take more effort, so I thought leave it.. which then pisses me off ![]() ![]() Its a 17 year old shell, its not perfect.. it could be if I threw money at it but I dont see the point. To be MINT, it needs a new front panel as its butchered about from when I fitted a FMIC for the TD engine, needs the rear valance welding to be MINT, and then spray the various paint chips, and that filler panel repairing... If I learn to use the welder properly over winter, and if I still have it I'll do that myself and keep it, and make a new place for the filler cap (I have an idea...) Then it'll probably still drop to bits lol. |

Part of me would love this car but it really would be a step backwards in reliability/newness for me. It seems odd but I don't have the 'what can I do next' feeling with the C2 so don't get bored or run out of ideas yet I am happy with it how it is. In this case I do think you would regret it, but on the flip side do you plan to keep it going forever? |

It wont be kept going forever... I'll prob get it working 100% all the time and run it till the bodywork drops apart and scrap it if I keep it. But saying that I'm gonna be using my deisel van soon, so it'll just be sat around. |
