has any one removed the air puls things ( cant remeber the name ) ? i removed mine and it sounds so much nicer , it burbles on tick over with standerd pipe
good mod for ?4.80 and 30 mins work ( depending on if your not doing anything else )

luke, did you find those massive nuts? are they 19mm or something (cant remem. now) were really siezed solid? Might be having to do this to zoom's as we bent all those crappy air pulse pipes when getting at a gearbox bolt

so there must be a reason ford made these blanking plugs?? whats the full purpose and workings of this "airpulse" system? - and has anyone been through an mot emissions test since doing it? |

ford made the plugs for the 2.0ltr i think some one of fiesta turbo put the car thought a MOT and it pasted, i think it just worms the cat up quicker from what i understand |

just ordered some blanking plugs with the above part numbers, 5.40 in total i hope the numbers were right!! see image 'minesadog' 
you've got 4 of them going into the exhaust manifold on all 4 cylinders. They in turn lead around to the right handside of the block which has a small square unit. I think it has something to do with passing the emissions test / as someone said above it might warm the cat up quicker with these in place, but removed i doubt you will see much difference. sorry its pitch black outside so the pics a bit blurry best i cud do mate (thanks to zetec fiesta for these next ones:)
