I have always said since I got the C2 that something had to break or need replacing before I messed.

Now it needs a service so the air filter is up for the chop, there is 3 options.

1, cheap panel filter
2, good panel filter
3, induction kit

Right now I am leaning towards a good panel filter as I can get a K&N for £35. More the fact I won't have to replace it as often.
Not sure on the induction kit route, they don't really make much difference and just cost more.

Out of interest would a panel filter form K&N or green etc actually make any noise?

If it's anything like the TU5J4 it'll go a hell of a lot better with a closed induction kit on it. Get rid of that cat whilst you're there too.
