If you remember, not long ago my other halfs car was broken into.

Today being a bank holiday we spent a good while cleaning both car and giving them a good polish, they both looked great so off we go.

I have just helped her carry some things to the car and some f**ker has hit it, mirror is f**ked which isn't good as its a full electric heated thing and her front wing is dinted. I will add the mirror was folder in and it has been pushed right round.

Hopefully with a bit of time and effort I should be able to take the mirror apart and either fix it or transfer everything into a donor poverty spec mirror. The dent looks like it should pull/push back.

What pi**es me off the most is I live on a close, and looking at the damage who ever did this accident or not must know they have done it and haven't said a thing.

The problem is we can't afford to keep repairing things, in 3 weeks we have had this, the break in as mentioned and a number plate stolen and this is going to be yet more money we just don't have! :x

It doesn't actually make me feel better knowing I am not alone in this case.

Luckily I am using the bus to work so if she needs a car while hers gets fixed then its not a problem.

It is literally 3 things in weeks now and its all time/money we shouldn't have to spend.

Out of interest anybody know how much it costs to get dents removed, I am looking more for a ballpark figure than anything else right now.

About £30 for a dent. Normally they just do a panel. If you've got a battered door they'll just do 'the door'. Had it done on my GTi and it was a good job. Only one dent they couldn't do and that was on the swage line of the boot.
