Got linked this this morning Looks good on a white fiesta, don't know what it would look like on a red one (mine) But, as fast as the old ST and apparantly sounds the nuts I may buy it without the wheels and stripes for my Red ZS, about £1k fitted Doesn't affect insurance, warranty or tax, sounds good to me, better than just having a standard one but without the rediculous pricing Whats your thoughts, is it worth 1000 of my pounds?

I saw this a few weeks ago in the paper and was trying to find the picture of that fiesta and couldnt! Thats the only new fiesta I like so far. I'd wait and see for future upgrades instead of blowing 1k just for 20bhp!! |

i've heard an ST isnt coming due to the global econoy, so i'd buy it. I mean, whats a grand in these hard times  wheels and yellow bits included? |

wheels not included in 1k its £1700 i think fitted with wheels and decals considering i paid £10k for my car ittl be £11.7k for a car as fast as an ST but with no tax,insurance or warranty issues upgrading car could be easier but im keeping this car until i get 1 yrs ncb back at least and thats 16 months away, so pepping this up should keep me happy, while i can keep saving up if you think 20bhp for a grand from an NA engine aint bad, custom exhaust from a good dealer is about £700 for decat and 4-1 manifold and full system, plus £250 for a sport cat, K&N (incl in this upgrade) is usually about £70 (pipe and filter) and remap sessions are about £200 or bluefins are usually £300 Sounds like good value to me, all the while my warranty is extended on top of what ihave for these parts, tax stays the same, as does the warranty as ford recommends it and insurance the same too, so its a one off cost

£1k for 20hp  good job that 20 bhp knocks 2 seconds off of the 0-60  I mean seriously is this taken from an ebay add? lol.

£50 per bhp. Not the best value for money. I wouldn't want to buy a new car and modify it. if I spent 5K+ on something, I'd like it to be pretty much what it is and nothing more until I moved onto the next car. |

read about this in the ford internal magazine the other day. looks interesting but personally wouldnt shell out 1k for it. the upside is that it wont void the warranty which is a must for fords the decision is up to you though mate. if you do get it it will be interesting to see the difference

One THOUSAND pounds. For 20bhp. Not something I'd look at spending for only 20bhp, but having skimmed over that article, it does state that it decreases the 0-62 time by 2 seconds. Not bad, 10bhp per second then. Get it up to 200bhp and you'll do 0-62 in 0.9 seconds But seriously, I'd be wanting a bit more for a grand. But if you have the money, then go for it. As long as it doesn't limit any future plans you may have for the car. Filter, exhaust, and new base map for 1k. Just doesn't seem a bargain to me. |

Yeah true, if i get the money spare then i will but ill probs find something else to spend it on haha but in fairness how much do you think it would cost for those bits if i bought them (they're not all avaiable unless you spend a damn fortune which i wont )4-1 manifold Sports cat Cat back exhaust K&N panel filter Intake to TB hose ECU remap 4 17" multispoke lightweight alloys new mirror covers Decals 4 dunlop tyres 17" + Fitting i would say its a fair price, just a shame its only 20bhp, but the tyres and wheels are meant to be great improvements for the car unfortunately NA isn't cheap  , a remap on a focus can easily get ya 40bhp for about £350

I suppose for what you get it's not too bad, and the labour is included yes? If so, then it's not a mega amount. Like you say, just a shame it's not more bang for buck. But if it's the only thing available, then it'll set yours aside from the rest in your area.
