Had it power runned well the results speak for themselves i had a compression test on it 150 psi on all cylinders and they done another test and showed 20% leakege on two pistons what does this mean they said they knew thta wild sid and alot off people are gunning for him they said its worth a remap but i dont want to be throwing anymore money at it with it leaking on two cylinders coming back on the M5 throttle switch decides to pack up so the car would bog down had to disconnect it to get home then my sat nav gave up and then stuck in traffic for an hour im gutted and really peed off my heart aint in to this car anymore what do you guys think i should do get a new bottom end then have it remapped or cut me losses i feel sick cus all the time i put into it the hydro carbons well 1200 ![]() |

its really not that bad mate a bottom end rebuild aint that expensive couple of hundred quid and aint really that hard its probably easier to do the bottom than the top end or another engine is about the same price but if you rebuild then you know what youve got ![]() |

All the RS Turbo's should have the panel without the filler flap (unless its been replaced with mk3.5 item) They ALL have sunroofs. And as said above.. the usual fiesta problems, rust etc |

not necessairily ![]() as mentioned twice, check for rust ![]() ![]() CVh engine is good, just check for abuse ![]() ![]() Be aware though, the best mint examples carry a premium, upto and upwards of £4.5K up, but thats pretty much standard concours. Be wary of "tuned" motors with no reciepts with 800Psi of boost etc, as that will spell tears ![]() If its had a T3 conversion check who did it, if theres no reciept walk, if there is ring the company to double check. Also, it has no LSD, as the ERST did, so bear that in mind hacking it into a corner ![]() ![]() ![]() The interior is the main selling point, and a mint interior is expensive so bear that in mind if a car you are looking at has a fecked interior ![]() ![]() HPI check would also be recommended, as it was hardly uncommon for an old ford to be nicked, let alone an RS tubs ![]() |

I wouldnt worry so much about a T3 and who did it, as its an easy as pie job to do.. I'd be more wary of who mapped it up! ![]() |

well if you get one, just give it a good look over as you would any car ![]() |

I'd keep saving then. An Escort or Sierra would keep more value and be worth more in the future. Sadly I'm not the first to announce this so the prices have never really moved ![]() |
